ENGINEERED PRINT
This shift dress was created from a photograph of the mountains of Karpenisi, Greece, and the spiraled pattern is inspired by the twists of an olive tree. The pattern pieces were created from scratch using Optitex 2D Patternmaking, and then transferred to Adobe Photoshop to create an engineered print. The dress has two layers to it: the outer layer is silk organza, the inner layer is silk dupioni. French seams are used throughout the dress.
